Baek Ye-rin (백예린), also credited as Yerin Baek, is a South Korean singer-songwriter and producer. She first gained recognition as part of the duo 15& before debuting solo on November 30, 2015 with the EP Frank. Her music bridges R&B, indie pop, dream pop, and soft alternative influences, marked by introspective lyricism, warm analog textures, and delicate emotional phrasing. She is also the vocalist and guitarist of the co-ed alternative rock band The Volunteers. Baek’s discography includes the EPs Frank (2015), Our love is great (2019), and Love, Yerin (2020). Her full-length albums Every letter I sent you. (2019) and tellusboutyourself (2020) further established her as one of Korea’s most distinctive and independent voices. In 2025, she released her third studio album Flash and Core (October 2, 2025), a two-disc project that expands her sound into electronic and jazz influences while retaining her signature melodic warmth and lyrical intimacy. Baek Ye-rin currently operates under her independent label People Like People, following her previous imprint Blue Vinyl. Her commitment to autonomy and genre fluidity has solidified her reputation as one of Korea’s defining voices in the alternative and independent music scenes.
