Kim Donghyun (김동현), stage name Donghyun (동현), born February 12, 1989 in Seoul, South Korea is a South Korean pop singer, actor, and model. He is the leader of the idol group BOYFRIEND, who debuted in 2011 under Starship Entertainment. Being a trainee for almost six years before joining BOYFRIEND, he worked as a back dancer for K.Will at one point. In 2012, Kim got his first opportunity to sing a solo track for BOYFRIEND's first album, JANUS, a song titled "Listen".
