Kim Bo Ah (김보아) is a Korean Pop singer. She is the lead vocalist of the girl group SPICA of B2M entertainment. Boa was born in South Korea on January 14, 1987. After high school she attended Yeoju University, where she joined Commercial Music department. Before debuting, she was an amateur musician. She worked with the famous Korean music studio "Sweetune" and harmonized the new songs for many artists and Korean music groups. She was also Kara, Rainbow and Infinite's vocal trainer under Sweetune. She had a dream of becoming an artist since she was a teenager, although those training stuff made her very busy. Therefore, she auditioned to be a part of LOEN Entertainment in 2007, then left the agency company due to personal circumstances. In 2010, she moved to B2M Entertainment and became a trainee. Then on December 2011, it announced that she will be finally making her debut with a girl group Spica and will be mentored by Lee Hyori who is now under the same agency as well.
