The names translates to Black Head, with 撒 (sa) being the local Shaanxi word for head, as oppose to the standard 头 (tou) for head in Mandarin. There members are 曹石 (Cao Shi), 王大治 (Wang Da Zhi), 双喜 (Shuang Xi), 张宁 (Zhang Ding) and 毕涛 (Bi Tao). The group is famous for its use of Shaanxi Hua (Shaanxi Province local dialect and slang) in their songs. They are probably the most famous local group in Xi'an and the Shaanxi area, and are also well known in Beijing and Sichuan Province. Their songs, as well as using local slang and dialect, also focus on life in Xi'an and the Xi'an area. Talking about local drinking spots, music venues, parks, streets, KTV bars, schools and food (there is an entire song about Shaanxi Food called "山西美食" (Shaanxi Gourmet Food). Although the band focus on the MC'ing elements of their songs (especially in their bigger performances) they also bring drums and guitar to the stage.
