Kyôko (響子) is a Japanese singer and guitarist born in Iwaki, Fukushima Prefecture. Her style is an eclectic mix of rock, pop, and jazz. She mainly focuses on live performances in the Tokyo area. She released her first album Adult Children ni Sasagu in December 2005, followed by a single and another album, Namida ha Lourdes no Izumi in April 2006 and an EP, Sora he ("Into the Sky"), released in January 2012. Her latest release is the song 咲くよ石楠花 (Saku yo shakunage, "The Rhododendrons Will Bloom") on a compilation album, "Rebirth ~Voice of Fukushima~" featuring artists from Fukushima to help raise money to clean up and rebuild the prefecture after the earthquake/tsunami disaster.
