He is a member of the male idol group X NINE. Xiao received recognition for his roles in the dramas Oh! My Emperor (2018) and The Untamed (2019). Besides being an influential actor, he has received numerous accolades for his singing. Xiao Zhan released his single 'Light Spot' at the end of April in 2020 and it has already become the second best selling digital song of all time. For this song, he entered the Guinness World Records for the fastest-selling digital track in China.
