Wang Feng, born June 29, 1971 in Beijing, China is a mainland China rock singer and composer. In April of 2006 he won Pepsi Billboard's Best Male Singer in Mainland China award. His formal education began at the age of 5, learning to play the violin. In 1982 he entered China's Central Conservatory of Music to study violin. He graduated from the Central Conservatory of Music in 1995, and entered the National Ballet Orchestra to tour Asia. His rock career began in 1993 with the formation of "Bao Street, 43" named for the address of his school. His solo career began in 2000 when he signed with Warner, with the album Fireworks.
