手术台 (Chinese for "Operating Table") are a death metal act from Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China, formed in 1997 and previously known as "The Base". In 2002 they released their first demo-tape, which gave them a deal with Mort Productions and, in the following year, a three-way split with Demisor & Regicide was released. In 2005, the band released 手术台作品全集 ("Compilation of Operating Table Works") which compiled tracks off the said split and some instrumental songs. In 28 August 2012 the band saw their final release: a split with Lingchi, limited to 150 copies.
