マルコ (Marco; also known as GEESE PURPLE/ギースパープル from 2011 until 2014) is a Japanese Visual kei band which was active from 2011 until 2022 and reunited in 2024. Members: ** 歌手 (Kashu): 礼 (Rei; フィギュア→ジャッカル→ＪＩＶＥ→次世代エキサイト→ギースパープル→ マルコ) ** Guitar: a.m.o (akira the mood okiwotashikani; CERBEROS (ケルベロス) → PALETTE (パレット) as Akira (あきら) , GELLONIMO → Dresscode (ドレスコード) → SectMateria → SectMa → D'eiz → MARCO (マルコ)) ** Bass: ちっひ (Chihhi) ** Drums: アツシ (Atsushi) Ex members: ** Guitar: Rutta (Lyra→VisionZ→シンディケイト→東京クロネコ倶楽部→次世代エキサイト(support)→ギースパープル(support)→マルコ) ** Guitar: akira (ケルベロス→パレット→re:Make(support)→ドレスコード→SectMa→D'eiz→ギースパープル(support)→電圧団, マルコ) ** Bass: 俊亮 (Shunsuke; ウツセミ→ギースパープル(support)→マルコ) ** Drums: 恭平 (Kyouhei; Gazella→1000㍉film→オーダーメイド→ウツセミ→ギースパープル(support)→マルコ) History: They started activities in 2011 as ギースパープル, a solo project of vocalist 礼 (Rei). They then transitioned as a full-fledged band, マルコ (Marco) with official members on September 7, 2014, under the label VOLTAGE ENTERPRISE, of which guitarist akira is president. Gt.Rutta and Dr.Kyouhei departed from the band on September 10, 2017, due to family reasons. Marco has since continued on with their 3 remaining members, plus a support drummer. On April 26, 2018, they released their 1st full album, "Lalala." Atsushi joined on June 6, 2019. In 2021 guitarist akira changes his stage name to akira the mood okiwotashikani (a.m.o). In September 2022 bassist Shunsuke (俊亮) secedes and the band pauses activites.
