Doku (どく) was a visual kei band that emerged from the vibrant music scene of Osaka, Japan. Active from 2019 to 2021, Doku explored the realms of loud kei and menhera kei, two subgenres of visual kei known for their heavy sound and lyrics surrounding mental health problems. The band consisted of vocalist Sin (しん), guitarist Inori (いのり), bassist Hakuya (はくや), and drummer Meguru (めぐる). Doku's journey began on June 23, 2019, when the band's members were unveiled as former members of Ogyaa (おぎゃー). Shortly after, on July 24, they marked their official debut with a live performance at Osaka Ruido. Simultaneously, they released their debut maxi-single, "KUI (クイ)." This marked the beginning of their creative endeavors. Over the course of their active years, Doku continued to release a series of impactful singles. Notable releases included "Ai to Shuuchaku (愛と執着)" on December 21, 2019, "Hito to Gouman (人と傲慢)" on January 25, 2020, and "Boku to Shitto (僕と嫉妬)" on February 19, 2020. As the band progressed, drummer Meguru joined the lineup on February 19, 2020, replacing the support drummer Loa. Doku's musical journey further unfolded with releases such as "Kyozetsu (拒絶)" on March 22, 2020, and "Kesson (欠損)" on April 7, 2020. On May 7, 2021, Doku released their final single, "Shinsou。 (シンソウ。)," marking the end of their discography.
