MERVA was started in 1996... The band name was VIRA - which meant something like Vocal Instrumental ROCK A(e)nsemble.. lol guys played music they liked in their little town Novograd-Volinskiy influensed mostly by russian legend Kino.. In 1998 they became EUPHORY. The time of development, teenlove and heavy metal...) The new milennium started.. the band moved to Rivne pretty much. A lot of things changed.... Thats when they take a turn on the new highway which is still leading them to the glory - after long looking for themselves, in 2004 guys cut their hair, found Dudarik and became..... MERVA!!!! MERVA with own perfectly undefined original attractively killing folk-nu-melal-ish style... MERVA with touchingly emotional sincere philosofhy... MERVA with great unforgetable awesome shows......... MERVA moves to Kiev in 2005.. MERVA wins "Perlini Sezonu" in 2006... MERVA is the participant of the grand festival "Red Alert" in 2007. MERVA takes part in the contest "Global Battle of the Bands" in 2006, 2007, 2008 and has 3rd, 2nd and 4th positions leaving behind the famous ukrainian rock bands..
