ω-3 (Omega-3) is a fictional band from Nintendo’s video game series Splatoon. ω-3 are a trio of Salmonids whose music plays in the multiplayer mode Salmon Run. ω-3 consists of a cellist, a timpani player, and a DJ. Their music is considered frantic and chaotic with fast tempos and a variety of time signatures. Strange sound effects are thrown into some songs, emphasizing the weird nature of Salmon Run. In real life, their music is composed by composer Ryo Nagamatsu and composer and cellist Seigen Tokuzawa.
