Θλίψη (''Sadness'' in greek language) is a dark ambient/experimental/shoegaze band formed in 2010, in Uberaba, Brazil. The current lineup consists of Lilith (vocals, bass, acoustic guitar, 12-string guitar, hulusi, dizi), Seu 7 da Lira (vocals, drums, synths, keyboards, cajón) and Leptossomico (backing vocals, guitars, viola caipira, 7-string guitars, slide-bass, indian sitar, ukulele). Θλίψη have expressed a wide variety of influences, ranging from the influential alternative band Morphine to Lifelover.
