Žrec - pagan metal from Vysočina, Czech Republic. The band started in 2004. Source of their name Žrec is a pagan priest - venerated and wise men of pagan people. The name show way of band's lyrics, they sing about old honest world of pagan age In 2006 Žrec went to studio Skála and recorded 3 songs for first demo called „Nový věk pohanský“. In 2007 Žrec played on Perunica Fest II. with Arkona and Alkonost. In 2008 czech label Murderous Productions releases fist long-awaited album "Žertva".
