Žilina Ensemble is an experimental music trio from Žilina, Slovakia. They meet for the first time on 26th January 2009 and they recorded their first album immediately (in less than 1 hour!!!). Members of this group are Jozef (acoustic slide guitar, harmonica, bass, flute, tabla and backing vocals), Lukas (recitals, vocals, harmonica, flute, mandoline, bass and rumba balls) and Ondrej (acoustic guitar, recitals, mandoline, bass and flute). Their style can't be described in normal terms. But band describes themselves as free jazz death metal. Composing of material for other albums is in progress: "We are working very precisly on our new stuff because we want it to be even more original and virtuoso than our previous album was. We are the kind of band that discovers other spheres of music." said Lukas in the recent interview.
