The music played by the band is a mixture of rock , alternative rock , heavy metal and folk . The group is distinguished by its peculiar (often vulgar ), humorous and satirical lyrics . History The band was originally intended to be a kind of "concert joke" accompanying the previously formed thrash metal band Respite, playing with the same line-up , and occasionally the band Projekt X, in which some of its members played. The band's name comes from the calf of the then guitarist, and later vocalist and leader of the band – Bartosz Krusznicki . The first concert as Łydka Grubasa took place on November 12, 2002 in the student club Kotłownia in Toruń during the Respite concert. In 2005, the band recorded a demo album entitled Stopa nie jestwszechna . In 2005, vocalist Maciej "Booch" Buczak left the band and was replaced by Bartosz Krusznicki. In 2007, guitarist Janusz "Plast
