Math rock duo Červen was founded in 2015 in Prague (Czech republic) and the same year they released their first EP called Červen (means June in Czech). The next two years the band spent playing shows and festivals in Europe, they shared stage with Mike Watt, Three Trapped Tigers, Rolo Tomassi, The Physics House Band or Jaga Jazzist. They also made music score to movie Lodger (1927) for international film festival and recorded live session for national radio. In June 2017 they released new EP with three songs, single Hit No. 3 includes official video-art made of fragments from east Asia ballet from 1970. Music by Červen combines math rock rhythm complexity with post-rock and noise rock guitar sound interlaced with catchy riffs and synth layers.
