„WIR SIND READY TO FIGHT“, is the title of the new ÜBERGAS album, coming out on October 1st 2010. Their second release is dominated by the symbol of the bull, as for lead singer Krispin Kirchhoff, being a musician is a daily bullfight. Next fall the young bull is released into the arena to raise some dust. According to Kirchhoff ÜBERGAS already exist since his day of birth, may 4th 1981, in form of an inborn drive to test the limits and take the fast lane. Consequently the band’s debut, released in 2008, was titled 4581. Songs like Ich Muss Gar Nichts and Hier Nach Da proved that already then ÜBERGAS were not willing to make compromises. WIR SIND READY TO FIGHT will be released on Kirchhoff’s own record label Kirchhoff Recordings and sends ÜBERGAS into the next round of their own band history - this time with even more propulsion and raw power. “Your own label gives you independence and necessitates ambition and will-power. The decision to release WIR SIND READY TO FIGHT on our own was definitely the best choice, considering the state of the music industry.” The new album is harder, extremely catchy and even more direct than anything the band did before.
