1. Übergang was a drum and bass duo composed on Christoph de Babalon and Christian Haudej, formed sometime in 2004. They played their last show on December 12, 2007. Their debut CD-R Not Summer Jam was issued in 2004 through the short-lived Ängerbug label. In 2006, their Fear Leader 12" was issued through Low Res. No prisoners“ – The direction ÜBERGANG would be headed was already defined during the first rehearsals in September 2014. Hard, fast and short songs met with intimate lyrics. From the beginning, the band practiced obsessively and searched for companions. Lead guitarist JC Lawless nearly completed the lineup around Cliff Nastii (vox), Jeff Insanity (Git) and Dukk Maniakk (Drums) after only a few weeks. Aside from the reality and madness of the mundane, influences and inspiration were found in dozens of recordings and bands like NUCLEAR ASSAULT's „Game Over“, EXODUS' „Bonded by Blood“ and CRO-MAG's „Best Wishes“ in addition to Bands like EVILDEAD, D.R.I, BATHORY, DESTRUCTION, AGNOSTIC FRONT and early CELTIC FROST. In winter 2014/15, skandinavian coldness made its way into the songwriting process, the songs of the first album taking shape. A first demo of three songs was recorded in the practice room and distributed underhand.
