Ölvis is Örlygur Thor Örlygsson, a native islandic, who enjoys making music since 2004, when his self-titled debut "Ölvis" was released. one year later, "the blue sound" followed and now in 2007 he released his third record, "Bravado". Ölvis, compared to his fellow songwriter Stafrænn Hákon, likes to experiment: He mixes chilly electropop with hallucinating sound-patterns, not without a dash of islandic pathos - his mellow, warm voice emphasizes the main character of his rather unique sound.
