Æmbermoon is a gothic metal band from Germany, originated in 2000. The various styles of the band members are expressed in their songs. The sound is particularly affected by the classical voice of lead vocalist Petra Block who also plays the flute in some songs. Guitarist and songwriter Juergen Kappes and Bassplayer Norbert Seufert are in charge of the metallic sound. Since 2005 they're being supported by guitarist and violinist Erik Ferner. Together with keyboard and background vocalist Indra Ottich, inspired by electronic music, and the progressive played drums from Matthias Block, AEmbermoon creates a varied and impressive atmosphere to the lyrical text.
