Angelina Dehn Gustavsson, better known by her stage name Ängie, was born in Stockholm, Sweden, and made her debut in the music industry in 2016 after signing a contract with Universal Music. Her first singles were “Smoke Weed Eat Pussy” and “Housewife Spliffin'.” Later in 2018, she released her first extended play, "Suicidal Since 1995". In 2019, she released another EP, "Each Other", with producer Harrison First, and a handful of singles, including "Dust", "Silver Sadness", and "IDGAF". In 2020 she released the single "Sad Sex", and then later in the year, her first album "Not Pushing Daisies", another collaborative effort with Harrison First. Her second album "Heartburn", with producer Tail Whip was released on the first day of 2021, followed by the single "Drug Lullabies", and another album with Harrison First, "follow the white rabbit" was released in November.
