"Innovate, Experiment, and set the world on fire". That is the motto and goal of the experimental electronic and industrial music project run by San Antonio based music producer Danielle C. East, [turbostrawberry]. Inspired by the likes of cinder block, The Prodigy, Aphex Twin, The Caretaker, CLAEMON, Brian Eno, and Swans, turbo mixes different genres together to create a unique blend of music not really seen too often. Tracks can go from slow ambient to fast paced IDM, loud blaring industrial to to slower electronica, and anything in between. Danielle became interested in music at around 6 years old, when she took piano lessons. At 7, she became intranced by the world of electronic music when she started playing Geometry Dash, and in 2024, after being inspired by her fellow peers Firegek, CLAEMON, cinder block, Davi, and Thai-British DJ and close friend Volume Max, at age 15 she started producing her own music with the release of the debut EP and album World Trade Centre and Selected Keyboardist Randoms Vol. 1 respectively. Unhappy with her results, she cancelled many projects before releasing Ambience for Hospitals to critical acclaim. While still very new, she hopes to innovate and inspire others to take risks and do their own shit.
