is a progressive black metal band formed in London, England in 2002 by Aort on guitar and Kvohst (Void, Hexvessel) on vocals. Initially, Aort wrote the music and Kvohst wrote the lyrics. They were joined by the Norwegians AiwarikiaR (Ulver) on drums and Viper a.k.a Vicotnik (Ved Buens Ende, Dødheimsgard) on bass guitar, giving the band an Anglo/Norwegian mix. Vyttra joined as a session guitarist. The band released a promo in 2002, Neurotransmissions: Amplified Thought Chemistry, which secured a deal with Spikefarm Records. Their debut album, Nouveau Gloaming, was released in 2005. After the release of their first album, Kvohst left to replace Aldrahn as vocals in Dødheimsgard, leaving the band with no vocalist. Vyttra and AiwarikiaR also decided to leave. The band then sought to recruit both Asgeir Mickelson (Borknagar, Spiral Architect, Ihsahn) as session drummer and Simen "ICS Vortex" Hestnæs (Arcturus, Dimmu Borgir, Borknagar) as vocalist, but neither ended up working with the band. Instead, Kvohst re-joined to do the vocals for their next album, and Adrian Erlandsson (At The Gates) was hired as a drummer. Their second album, Resplendent Grotesque was released in 2009 on Tabu Recordings. After the second album, Kvohst left the band to focus on Hexvessel, while Viper left to continue with Dødheimsgard. Aort decided to move forward with the band, and was joined by Andras on guitars, LORDt on drums, Syhr on bass guitar and Wacian on vocals, leaving the band's Norwegian her
