&re (pronounced On-dray) is musician/singer/songwriter Andre LaFollette. His goal is to create intricate, driven, exciting pieces that by themselves sound simple, pure, and genuine. Rooted primarily in the rock genre; &re blends in the blues, funk, hard rock, jazz, and classical elements as well. There still is the element of excitement that carries from song to song. Andre's music has been described in the past as the "kind of music you'd probably get caught speeding to." July 2010 marks &re's first release. A collection of 10 songs on the album 'Rock and Roll Revival'. Already the song "Built Like Castles" has garnered radio interest both state side as well as in Canada. Nevertheless, &re's direction is focused toward music licensing for TV, Film, video games, but radio airplay is certainly an added bonus. The music has been called "gritty, bossy, and chock full of expansive melodies." - tunelabmusic.
