Blending the indie aesthetics of bands such as Two Door Cinema Club, Foals and Bloc Party together with Chilli Pepper inspired guitar lines, & The Centurions have set a new artistic standard for the Gulf region. Teaming up with producer Kim Grose (www.facebook.com/kimgrosemusic), the bands debut E.P. Animalism showcases their talent for writing energetic, hook driven songs such as The Other People and Blacklight; as well as displaying their ability to create ambient, spacious and soothing soundscapes with songs such as In Circles and Cities. Animalism was recorded over the winter and spring of 2010 and 2011 at Autonomous Studios in Bahrain. Due to be released in Mid 2011, the E.P. brilliantly captures the modern, eclectic sound of the band leaving listeners wanting more. The four-piece band, formed in 2007 is comprised of Mazen Almaskati (vocals/guitar), Vish Mhatre (drums), Jad Habib (vocals/guitar) and Rab Honar (Bass).
