Xuxa 5 is the seventh studio album and sixth in Portuguese by Brazilian singer and presenter Xuxa, released on July 16, 1990. This album was the fifth album in the Xou da Xuxa collection and sold 1,148,861 copies. The best known songs on this album are "Lua de Cristal", "Pinel por Você" and "Trem Fantasma". The program "Video Show" showed at the time the recordings of the album "Xuxa 5" in the studio, in which Xuxa told some curiosities about the album. Xuxa says that she voiced 20 songs, the selection of which would be part of the album was difficult. She also says that it was a very different record from the one she had made until then, due to the diversity of rhythms. The album would be called "Xou da Xuxa 5", but for the producers, the name sounded strange and weak, so they decided to keep the name "Xuxa 5".
