The Romans assimilated it as "xei" into their language, since they could not illustrate "s" any other way. The "X" has been used to mark the unknown ever since. The desire for the unknown and the ability to exceed our limitations to explore it are inherent parts of human nature. So is the will to expand our field of vision and improve our perception of our surroundings. This album illustrates different levels of this process, the different phases of discovery. Step one: empirical approach, basic-level analysis. The doubt that eventually substitutes our initial confidence might lead to the violation of moral barriers. Final step: the description of new phenomena with existing concepts, relating the findings to our ultimate point of reference. Tracknames in english: 1. As Measurable 2. Oppressed by Noise 3. 4.
