It was released on May 31, 1983 via Polar Music and produced by Mike Chapman, who has worked with Blondie, Suzi Quatro, Pat Benatar and Lita Ford among others. The album was promoted with the singles "The Heat Is On", "Wrap Your Arms Around Me" and "Can't Shake Loose". The album peaked at #18 in the UK, #49 in Australia, #102 in the US, #4 in the Netherlands, #13 in Germany, #2 in Finland and #1 in her home country Sweden as well as Norway.
