8 instrumentals in a mix of styles including rock, jazz, funk, electronica and world, performed by a one-man-and-his-computer band using real guitars and an array of midi-enabled kit and software. Some fragments of the material date back to 1997, but most of the effort was in 2004, when chronic Gear Acquisition Syndrome could no longer be denied and it became time to put down the pile of technical manuals and try to get an entire tune or two finished. The 4th track was created by entering the basic theme and structure in to Band-In-A-Box software, improvising guitar over it for 2 passes, then tweaking the computer-performed parts to try and improve the impression of interplay with the guitar.
