While Broken Hearts Prevail is an EP by post hardcore band Emery that was released on October 28, 2008. Musically the album returns to heavier sound found on Emery's debut album The Weak's End instead of the alternative sound on the band's previous release I'm Only a Man. Emery will record a video for "The Smile, The Face" the first single off the album. The title of the album was taken from a song off of the band's demo EP The Columbus EEP Thee, in which the track "It Always Depends" is also found. The iTunes version of this album will have an extra track, which is an alternate version of the song "Thoughtlife."
