Debut full length album by the Norwegian black/viking metal band, released 1997 by Head Not Found (Metalion's label). Recorded September 1996. Artwork is taken from artist John Martin's The Great Day of His Wrath (1853) one third of the triptych titled The Last Judgment which consisted of 'The Plains of Heaven', 'The Last Judgment' and 'The Great Day of His Wrath'. NWOBHM band Angel Witch used part of 'The Last Judgment' as cover artwork for their 2012 album 'As Above, So Below' (as well as another of Martin's works on their 1980 debut).
