"When Darkness Reigns" is the debut full length album release of the New York studio deathcore duo This Divided World. Their album was released independently on September 29th, 2012 by members Mark Young (vocals) and Micah Brill (instrumentation/writing.) According to an album review by IndieVisionMusic.com "'When Darkness Reigns' is an impressive and well-produced release that should excite anyone who considers themselves a deathcore fan." Songs like "The East and The West" and "Unconditional" are what make up the "core" of what this band is all about; heaviness. But they are not just a one trick pony.
