Album
"Wet Dream" is the debut solo album by Pink Floyd keyboardist Richard Wright, released in 1978. The album was self-produced, with Wright writing all of the material except for one track co-written with his then-wife Juliette Wright, previously known as Juliette Gale, who had also contributed vocals to an early pre-Pink Floyd recording titled "Walk with Me Sydney". The original 1978 album credits listed Juliette Wright as lyricist on "Against the Odds", while the 2023 reissue credited her for "Pink’s Song". "Wet Dream" was recorded at Super Bear Studios in Berre-les-Alpes, Alpes-Maritimes, France, in early 1978. Around the same period, Wright’s Pink Floyd bandmate David Gilmour recorded his debut solo album, "David Gilmour", at the same studio. Upon its initial release, "Wet Dream" received little attention and remained largely unnoticed. The album was out of print in the United Kingdom for many years but was reissued on CD in the United States and Canada during the 1990s and again in Australia in 2008, following Wright’s death. A remixed and expanded reissue was released in 2023 to mark what would have been Wright’s 80th birthday. Announced for release on July 28, 2023, the new edition featured a stereo remix by Steven Wilson, new artwork, and previously unseen photographs from the original recording sessions. The vinyl, CD, and Blu-ray editions were issued on September 29, 2023, coinciding with the album’s 45th anniversary. The Blu-ray version included both a Dolby Atmos
