We Need Surgery's self-titled album was released Sept. 25, 2012 on Vancouver's Light Organ Records. The album was recorded in studios in Seoul, Korea and Vancouver, BC. Four tracks were recorded at Bubble Gum Studios independently by the band while based in Seoul. Those tracks were later re-mixed and produced in Vancouver by band guitarist Valentino Avignoni and Steve Bays of Hot Hot Heat. Two additional tracks were recorded at Sugar T's in Vancouver and produced by Futcher and Avignoni. A majority of the songs on the album were recorded at the Armoury in Vancouver and produced by Dave "Rave" Ogilvie (NIN, Marilyn Manson, Skinny Puppy, Carly Rae Jepsen) and Kevvy (Fake Shark Real Zombie, Carly Rae Jepsen). Those songs were also mixed by Steve Bays. The entire album was then mastered by Gene Grimaldi (Lady Gaga, Patti LaBelle, Mary J. Blige, Toni Braxton, Rancid) at Oasis Mastering in Burbank, CA. The first single from the album was Go! Go! Go! with the video for the single being shot in Kanagawa Japan.
