We Buy Diabetic Test Strips is the fifth studio album by American hip hop group Armand Hammer. It was released on September 29, 2023, through Fat Possum. The album would receive an amended edition on February 27, 2024, which would remove Junglepussy's two verses and, more notably, added the 16th track "Doves." It is still unclear on why Junglepussy has been removed. The album features guest appearances by Moor Mother, El-P, Pierce Jordan of Soul Glo, Pink Siifu, Curly Castro and Cavalier. It is the first Armand Hammer album to not be released under the Backwoodz Studioz label. This was the most traditional album rollout that any Armand Hammer album received, due to their recent 'blowing up' post-Haram. The album was first officially spoken about on July 3, 2023, when woods revealed that Armand Hammer's next studio album was almost done. However, woods had been teasing it throughout their 2022 international tour, which helped inspire 2023's Maps. Two weeks later, mysterious postcards and flyers with phone numbers that lead to album/pre-order details appeared. Fans even received postcards with a tracklist and a phone number. On August 2, the album was officially announced. A session with jazz musician Shabaka Hutchings, producer/keyboardist Child Actor, engineer Willie Green and Elucid helped set up the foundation of the album The first single, "Trauma Mic," saw its release on August 2, as well with its music video.
