We Are Not Your Kind is the sixth studio album by American heavy metal band Slipknot, released 8 August 2019 under the Roadrunner Records imprint. We Are Not Your Kind is the first album by the band not to feature percussionist Chris Fehn. The album is named after a phrase from Slipknot's earlier release "All Out Life". Guitarist Jim Root said that the album is "the most time we've had to write a record, and work stuff out together" and that "while the industry is moving toward singles, Slipknot wanted to make an album experience, front to back."
