Aman Amun's "Waxing" is a powerfully thematic art-piece. Amun was at one point the principle Egyptian god, often known as "the hidden one." Aman Amun is an attempt for him to reveal himself as "the hidden one" and present himself as simply "a man." In that sense he empowers himself with his love for creating things but scrapes off any visible sense of being "special" by exposing his insecurities and inadequacies. Waxing is the first phase of the moon as it reveals itself from darkness, and, needless to say its Amun's first attempt at revealing who he truly is and what he is truly capable of. It was recorded by Amun, himself, in his studio in Athens, and mixed and mastered with the help of Zac Litwack of Rockvale Studios in Murphysboro Tennessee. The download is free, the music is new. I encourage you to take a deeper look. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
