The album was announced by Amiri via Instagram, he also changed his changed his Instagram profile picture as well as Instagram bio which is captioned. "ready 4 war ?" On August 15th, 2024, Internet Money teams up with Amiri for their highly anticipated collaboration, “KEEP IT COOL”, the track was believed to be on the next Internet Money project as it was confirmed via Taz Taylor, but that assumption was incorrect as it was later confirmed by Amiri that it will be on his album. Shortly after, the next month, on September 20th, 2024, Amiri dropped the first official lead single for the album, “COUNT MY BANDZ”, Additionally, on Wednesday, November 26th, 2024. Amiri took to his YouTube to post the official trailer for the album, along with the release date for the album, with the comment stating: "WAR READY DROPPING 12/6" On November 30th, Rich Amiri took to his Instagram to post the official cover art for the album. Then, just two days later, on December 2nd, 2024. Amiri takes to his Instagram to post the official track list for the album, with caption stating: " FRIDAY" The album later made it’s release at 10PM on Thursday, December 5th, 2024, for certain parts of the States and countries, but made its official release on Friday, December 6th.
