Released in March 2010 on Ranch Records, "Waiting for Dawn" is a collection of soul-searching but optimistic songs ranging from gentle folk ballads to the driving blues of "Travel Light". Burke is a cunning lyricist and her distinctive voice unflinchingly delivers each bittersweet word.
