Voices, the 5-track EP, is safe room's second release. Although originally planned to be a 7-track EP, the final version was cut down to five shortly before the EP's release on the 20th June, 2009. Trivia- While producing the album art for this release, the list of fonts was lost, and it took safe room over an hour to reproduce the logo accurately. The name of the track, "Last one alive" is a reference to the battle cry of the soldier class in the valve game, "Team Fortress 2," which is "Last one alive, lock the door!" Although it features snippets of prime ministerial speeches from World War Two, the track is actually about martian invasion.
