The ep, Violet Flower, was released July 30, 2006. Yolanda stated that title came from her name, as the word "Yolanda means violet flower". Ms. Johnson also stated that reason for doing another EP instead of an album, was because she waited four years to come back with new music. This cd is a must have for all neo-soul lovers. The first single, Individual, was a heart lifting inspirational song. The self-titled track "Violet Flower" speaks on word of love.
