Album
Venom and Eternity uses elements from Simon’s previous musical incarnations fused with contemporary electronic and cinematic themes. The album mixes classic song-writing with more left-field musical influences, using vocals and guitar-tinged electronics and taking cues from early New Order through the dance beats of Underworld, to the modern spatial techno of Plaid. It features guest musicians drawn from South Coast bands past and present. Those singers featured on the album are: Hayley Alker (Curl/Helsinki), David Auton (Autons), Ben Baxter (Carmen Rosa/Cranes), Keith Seatman (Psylons/Seatman Separator), Sarah Clark (Red Campion), Mike Taylor (Ridgeway), Simon Brookes (Bonemachine), Ed Jobling (Forkbeard Fantasy/Twelve 88 Cartel), and solo artist Andrew Foster. Guitarist Les Black also features on “Guilt”. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
