Variations on a Cloud is a song by Miracle Musical. It contains melodies from songs on their album Hawaii Part II: Introduction To The Snow, Isle Unto Thyself, Murders and Dream Sweet In Sea Major, as well as a song from Tally Hall (a band that contains many of Miracle Musical's members), Ruler Of Everything. It features Rob Cantor, who also was a vocalist on Hawaii Part II on track nine, Time Machine. The song is also stated to be "Track 0" of Hawaii Part II, according to Joe Hawley, the main member of Miracle Musical. Variations on a Cloud is about the attacks on the World Trade centre in 2001; many theorise that the song is from the point of view of two people in one of the towers. A music video was created for the song, which contains numerous images relating to these events. The video was taken down from YouTube, but has been reuploaded many times by other channels.
