Released March 16th, 2009 Utopia is the second release from renegade electro-pop artist Mystery White Boy, and his first with the City Cascade label. The album has two distinct themes, the first half comprising of grungey glitch-pop/trip-hop and the second half breaking into fresh, funky falsetto-soul. Key musical influences include Portishead, The Cooper Temple Clause, Hot Chip and Francis and the Lights, and especially U2's 1997 album "Pop", while lyrical themes reflect stories of romance and personal struggles in the city.
