THORK started as a side project of bassist Samuel Maurin from the band NIL. The band claims wide influences from Celtic and medieval music, prog rock, classical, jazz, and metal, but hasten to add that these influences do not necessarily reflect what they sound like. For this, perhaps the most accurate description is dark progressive folk. This is THORK's first album from 2000.
