Since George has embarked on his musical journey he has had the good fortune to find new talented and musical friends, to assist him in the unique sound now collectively known as Cernunnos Rising. The name Cernunnos An ancient iconic, antlered figure, representing the wild, restless and turbulent aspects of nature. He is a magical creature of celtic mythology, guardian of the green wood and wild places. His spreading tree like antlers seem to epitomize the forest. He is intrinsically connected to the mysteries of seasonal regeneration and cycles of death and rebirth. “Cernunnos Rising” denotes angry aspect of the green man and the wild soul, challenging us to look again at our delicate connection to the world around us, reappearing more recently as a potent symbol of ecological concern.
