Mim Paquin, a multifaceted talent. Mim's album Uprooted, written and produced in 2005, is an artist's journey through the various stages of love. Mim sings and writes an eclectic handful of songs with jazz, r&b soul filled acoustic, folk, and rock influence. In 2005, Mim found herself lost in a year-long emotional discovery of the complexities of the various forms love takes. Falling in love, falling out of love. Longing for the love of home. At one point, she shares an anecdote "be thankful if you're loved, because over too soon you're love's over the moon." This artist takes you down a personal and emotional path, while trying to wrap her mind around something only the heart understands. Uprooted is privately produced personal recordings. Written, performed & engineered by the artist herself, Mim Paquin. The last track on Uprooted is the more traditional jazz based tune "Do You Hear That Sound." This was the last song written just before the artist Mim Paquin began to privately study opera. www.mimpaquin.com User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
