University Heights, released as an effort to challenge A$AP Rocky for the #1 album in the world (EX: Ye – Graduation vs. 50 Cent – Curtis) draws inspiration from the college experience. For the album cover, The Society takes inspiration from popular band and global phenomenon “Oasis” and their album cover for “Defiantly Maybe” The name itself, derived from the town at the University of Buffalo in Buffalo New York, reflects the highs the college experience can bring. However within the album, The Society and it’s members reflect on their own experiences as well as their roots as friends. The album is 12 tracks and 34 min and 51 secs in length. (just like Alfredo) The deluxe edition of the album was released shortly after. The album stylistic theme is in juxtaposed to the groups last album, “The Society: The Album”, as every track on that album is stylized in all caps.
