Dura Mater are an eclectic 8-piece from Nottingham blending styles spanning art rock to chamber folk. Lilting violins, delicate piano and angular guitars spar with a taut rhythm section, creating the sensation that their music is more a journey than a moment. They quickly established themselves in the local scene, opening for The Murder Capital in late 2022. Performing at Dot to Dot Festival 2023 earned them further hype and a slew of exciting opportunities including support slots for Geese and Folly Group at The Bodega and Sundara Karma’s sold-out Rock City performance. They’ve quickly matured into a lean and mesmerising live act. The band released their debut single 'Umbrella Tree' on the March 1st, with a further single and their EP Arable Grounds to follow.
